Your wedding outfit deserves another day out
It took months to choose and you wore it once. How to list a wedding outfit so the right person finds it.

You spent months finding it. Fittings, alterations, the long call with your mum about the dupatta. You wore it for one day. Now it's in a garment bag on top of the wardrobe.
Someone is planning their wedding right now and looking for exactly that piece. Here's how to make sure they find it.
Time it well
Most weddings in the UK cluster between spring and autumn, with a second wave over winter. People shop three to six months ahead. List in the quiet months and you'll catch the planners.
Honest photos mean happy buyers and good reviews.
Get it ready first
Dry clean it. Check every hook, every button, every bit of embroidery. Fix anything small. Air it out so it smells of nothing.
Then lay out everything that came with it: the dupatta, the blouse, the can-can, any matching potli. Sets sell better complete.
Photograph it properly
The photos do most of the selling.
- Daylight, near a window. Never a yellow bedroom bulb.
- Full length first. On a hanger against a plain wall or door, so people see the whole shape.
- Then the detail. Close-ups of the embroidery, the border, the blouse, the label.
- Show the flaws. A loose thread, a tiny mark. Honest photos mean happy buyers and good reviews.
Describe it like a member, not a shop
Say what it is and where it's from. Say what you wore it to and how many times. Give measurements, not just a size, and say how much margin is in the seams for alterations. That one detail answers half the questions you'd otherwise get. (These are the questions buyers ask, so answer them up front.)
Price it fairly
Look at what similar pieces are listed for. Factor in the condition and the original price. Remember your listed price includes postage, so allow for tracked delivery on something this heavy.
Dukanoh charges 0% commission, so whatever it sells for is yours. Selling more than one piece? Have a look at Founder pricing for Dukanoh Pro.
Then let it go
It was perfect for your day. Now it's someone else's turn. List it on Dukanoh. Someone's been looking for it.
