Buying from another member? Ask these first
Every piece on Dukanoh comes from someone's wardrobe. A few good questions before you buy make all the difference.

Buying on Dukanoh isn't like buying from a shop. The piece comes from a member's wardrobe, and the member is one message away. Use that.
Here are the questions worth asking before you check out.
"Can you send the measurements?"
Sizes mean different things to different tailors. Ask for flat measurements: bust or chest, waist, length, and sleeve. Compare them with something you already own that fits well. Buying a kurta? Here's how one should fit.

"How much room is there to alter it?"
Most South Asian pieces have extra fabric in the seams. Knowing how much tells you whether a size up or down can work. Your tailor will thank you.
"What does the colour look like in daylight?"
Phone cameras love to turn maroon into red and mint into grey. Ask for one photo by a window.
"What's included?"
Dupatta, blouse, can-can, matching trousers. Don't assume. Get it in writing in the chat.
"How many times has it been worn?"
Most sellers will tell you straight away, and what it was worn to. Good sellers put it in the listing. It's part of the piece's story, and often the best part.
"Will it arrive in time?"
If you need it for a date, say so up front. A good member will tell you honestly if dispatch won't make it.
Keep it on Dukanoh
Pay through the app, always. Dukanoh Safe Checkout covers your purchase, and it only works when the payment goes through Dukanoh. If anyone asks you to pay by bank transfer instead, that's your cue to walk away.
Then close the loop
When it arrives and it's right, leave a review. It takes ten seconds, and it's how members build trust in each other. That's what makes this a community, not just a marketplace.
