Why we built Dukanoh
There was nowhere built for South Asian fashion, by people who understand it. So we built it.

A hand-embroidered lehenga, listed between phone cases and football boots. Described as "red dress, worn once". Priced like one too.
If you've ever tried to sell, or find, a South Asian piece online, you know the feeling.
Nothing needs explaining, and nothing gets lost in translation.
Nowhere built for us
The generic marketplaces weren't made with our wardrobes in mind. A sharara gets filed under trousers. Nobody asks whether the dupatta is included, or how much margin is in the seams. A sherwani worth hundreds sits next to a high-street blazer, and nobody scrolling past can tell the difference.
So the best pieces stay where they are. In garment bags on top of wardrobes, waiting for an occasion that's already been and gone. Most of us have a few.
People who get it
Dukanoh is a marketplace for South Asian fashion, made for the people who wear it.
That changes everything about buying and selling. The person listing your next lehenga knows what it is, what it was worn to and why it matters. The person buying your sherwani already knows how it should fit. Nothing needs explaining, and nothing gets lost in translation.
Every piece comes from a member's wardrobe. Every member is part of the same community.
Trust, built in
Buying from someone you've never met only works if you can trust them. So on Dukanoh, trust isn't a promise. It's how the whole thing works.
- Sellers verify their identity before they get paid.
- Safe Checkout holds your payment until the order is complete, and covers you if a piece doesn't arrive or isn't as described.
- You can message the seller before you buy, and ask anything.
- Every member builds a track record through reviews.
Your Fits. Your Culture. On Repeat.
Your Fits. The pieces worth owning. The lehenga you searched months for, the kurta that sits just right, the outfit everyone asked about.
Your Culture. A community that already knows. The occasions, the fabrics, the craft behind them. You don't have to explain any of it here.
On Repeat. The best pieces shouldn't be worn once and forgotten. On Dukanoh they move from one member to the next, one occasion to the next, and get worn again.
Come in
If you have pieces worth passing on, list them. Someone's been looking for them.
If you're looking for your next one, start discovering.
Either way, you're among people who get it.
